Problem

A mid-market firm was running monthly reporting off 14 disconnected SaaS tools. Reports took 3 days to produce and routinely contradicted each other. Leadership had no single source of truth for revenue.

Approach

Designed a Snowflake-based warehouse with dbt for transformations. Migrated ingestion to Fivetran where mature, custom Python connectors where not. Built a semantic layer so analysts queried clean, governed models.

Outcome

Reporting cycle dropped from 3 days to under 30 minutes. Leadership now opens a single dashboard for board-level metrics. Engineering team reclaimed an estimated 20 hours per month previously spent reconciling spreadsheets.
